A remodeled kitchen featuring walnut cabinetry and stone floor.

In this classic Portland Tudor house, we straddled the line between keeping the kitchen “at home” in the space and the client’s desire for more modernity.

    Walnut cabinets, brass hardware, and porcelain floor tile combine to bring depth and timeless richness to this kitchen.

    We removed a furring wall behind the range to bring more light back into the space, replaced windows and doors, and rethought the connected pantry.

    Olive wall paint brings out the green veining in the handpicked soapstone countertop.
