We converted a former grocery store into a mixed-use commercial building with retail, food service, a 2,500 SF restaurant, and a south-facing common courtyard. The wide entry passage was designed to accommodate small juice and magazine retail kiosks. There are 14 office/professional spaces with common conference facilities on the second floor. Emphasis was placed on both pedestrian and car-approach, and there are secure spaces for 33 bicycles as well. Life safety and accessibility upgrades included: new exit stairs, wheelchair lift, fire protection systems, and a full seismic upgrade.
